Nearing the end of the 2025-2026 school year, our Initiative has once again launched a drive to help collect used textbooks. Almond Blossom sought out students, teachers, and families for donations and was eventually successful. Our donations total over 60+ AP books, each differing in subject and packed with content such as practice problems, full-length practice exams, and content explanations to help students prepare for the AP exams.
For context, after AP exams, many students lose use for their previous study materials, often discarding or forgetting about them. But each book carries significant weight in the fact that they can be used again to help students who experience financial barriers to accessible education. This is why our initiative was created: to redirect these books to students in need and aid in making our community more accessible.
The importance of these books are just limited to high school grades; they carry value in their ability to aid in garnering college credit and building a strong academic portfolio for students applying to college. We're proud to support these learners across the greater Orlando area and look forward to our next drive!
